Buy Food with Plastic is an association based in Zurich, Switzerland.
The vision is to sensitize people to a more conscious use of plastic. We give value to plastic bottles and use it as a currency. In countries like Nicaragua, we are organizing events where people in the local communities can pay for a meal with plastic bottles. The team pays around two dollar for a meal and plastic recycling for one person, so your contribution makes a huge difference!
We are able to reduce plastic waste and simultaneously help the population to afford healthy food. With the collected plastic we build houses & upcycle it to products.
